Letters from Laura: Fall 2021

From Laura, To You

Fall has officially arrived and we are saying goodbye to Summer 2021. I’m not sure about you, but I always look forward to the fall season as it is one of my favorite times of the year. However, it’s always hard to say goodbye to summer. I’ll miss the slightly lazy mornings that summer has a tendency to bring, as opposed to the school-morning-rush!

This past summer was a great one for our family, with some really great memories. A few highlights include a family reunion with my side of the family in June (it was so good to be together!), lots of time at our family lake cottage, and camping for a few nights in our vintage Shasta camper! Summer was so good for our souls this year and we enjoyed every second of it.

As much as summer will be missed, it does feel great to have more of a routine in place and more structure each day with school. Jonas started 3rd grade this year and is LOVING it so far and Sophie is in 1st grade! They are both excited to be back in school this year and to be around their friends, and I can’t wait to see all that they learn and experience this school year.

I can't wait to see all that Jonas will see, learn, and experience this school year!

In case you missed the big news, we just launched some new fall-colored kids glasses and teen glasses! Two of my personal favorites are the Miles/Maddie Tea Rose Tortoise and the Harvey/Harper Rose Gold Crystal. The colors and patterns are so amazing - I’m obsessed! Sophie loves the Tea Rose Tortoise, too, as you can see by the smile on her face. Make sure you head to our new arrivals page and check out the rest!

We’ve had some fun things come across our desk recently, one of which is a podcast we were interviewed for. If you are big into podcasts, you’ll want to check it out! The podcast is called Plucking Up, and it’s hosted by me and Ben’s good friend, Liz Bohmannan. Ben and I really enjoyed our conversation with Liz, and hope that you will as well.

The other exciting thing that recently happened is Jonas Paul was honored on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing privately-held companies for the 3rd year in a row! ...#777, to be exact! It’s always so crazy to me to think that just a few years ago this business was operating out of our basement and we would ship frames out while Jonas was sleeping as a little baby!

Thanks so much for all of your support, and cheers to a great fall season!

Cheers,
