WHO WE ARE

Jonas Paul Eyewear is a children’s eyewear provider. Our mission is to provide function and new form to children’s vision with fun, fashion-forward eyewear options. JPE was founded by Ben and Laura Harrison in an effort to find stylish eyewear for their visually impaired son, Jonas. Unfortunately, finding such options did not exist within the children’s optical market. Since its founding in 2013, JPE has been featured on NBC Today & Nightly News, The Wall Street Journal, INC 5000, Huffington Post, Redbook, and many other publications. It has garnered numerous awards for its social responsibility and design. Jonas Paul Eyewear also provides sight to those in need through its’ Buy Sight, Give Sight program, which has impacted over 1,014.702 children world-wide.

DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Customer Care Associate to process and support our customers through their specific needs. Daily responsibilities include processing orders and communicating with the customers. Learning and recognizing the specific details from spectacle prescriptions and communicating these details to the customer in an informational and understandable manner. In addition to this, being able to answer the questions that our customers ask and support them through their customer service needs. Finally, caring for our customers and providing them comfort and ease through the eyewear journey.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing orders, taking careful consideration from start to finish with quality attention to detail.
  • Answering phone calls and responding to voicemails or call back requests.
  • Knowledge of our products and lens types, continually learning with updates.
  • Mindful of small details when entering in a customer's information.
  • Regular attendance in the office.
  • Answering customer responses to what is needed for their order and making sure to answer all of the customer questions.
  • Managing our “Chat” system and responding promptly.
  • Processing service requests and inquiries.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Highly detailed.
  • A self-starter who can take direction, as well as work independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for learning and always seeking to sharpen skills
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
  • Positive, friendly, and patient with both customers and other JPE Team members/
  • Team player who is resourceful and flexible.
