Letters from Laura: December 2022

Happy Holidays from our family to your family! I hope you are having a wonderful Holiday season full of time with family and friends as well as all the amazing Christmas cookies and movies! Not sure if you are the same, but our house has Home Alone and Home Alone 2 on repeat this time of year :)

I just love this time of year, as it allows for us to sit back and reflect on the past 12 months and all of the ups and downs we’ve had both as a family and as a business. Both Jonas and Sophie continue to grow up and it’s amazing to watch these kids who were once babies and toddlers now become kids with thoughts and opinions. It truly is such a fun time to parent! Don’t get me wrong - we have some incredibly difficult times, but to see them becoming their own individuals is so great.

Jonas has had some significant moments of growth this year that I am incredibly proud of him for, and Sophie continues to love all things art, reading, and American Girl! And, I continue to try and manage both being a mom and wife while working. Sometimes it’s incredibly difficult to try to do it all, but in 2022 I feel like I released some of my own internal pressures that I was putting on myself. It’s been wonderful to see the changes I have been able to make as I have worked through those pressures.

I continue to feel so thankful and blessed for the growth and future of Jonas Paul. Our amazing team has worked so hard this year and has had to overcome some big hurdles. I continue to be amazed at how our team works together to overcome challenges, and how we work towards a common goal to provide the best experience possible for our customers.

And, one of our biggest joys this year was seeing our Buy Sight, Give Sight impact over ONE MILLION lives this year!! I am incredibly proud of this, as those are lives that are receiving life saving Vitamin A supplements. Thank you for allowing that goal to become a reality. Without you, we would not have been able to accomplish this!

As we enter into this Holiday season, I recognize that it can be extremely challenging for some and incredibly exciting for others. I hope you are able to take time to reflect on what this past year has been like, and how you and your family have grown. May we continue to support those around us and be a positive influence in this world.

I wish you a blessed Holiday season and I pray that 2023 is an even better year for you and your family!

Cheers,
