Jonas Paul Eyewear glasses are made of the highest quality custom cellulose acetate and high quality lenses but please keep in mind they are not indestructible! We emphasize to all of our customers the importance of educating their children in taking special care of their eyewear!

With that said, we understand kids are kids and therefore they have a tendency to break things!

Warranty Policy for Prescription Orders

Warranty Policy Within 30 days of delivery date

Jonas Paul Eyewear will replace eyeglasses with manufacturer defects (ie warping, broken hinges after regular use, cracked acetate after regular use) within 30 days of customer delivery date.  If your child damages or breaks her or his glasses within 30 days of delivery date, we will provide a one-time replacement of the frames and/or lenses  (if Jonas Paul Eyewear fulfilled the prescription lenses) for a service fee of $12.99.  The prescription must be the same as the original order.  The Customer must show photo proof that the glasses have been damaged by emailing service@jonaspauleyewear.com Customer must email us a photo(s) to show proof that the frame and/or lenses has been damaged.

Warranty Policy After 30 days of order date up to 6 months of order date

If your child’s frame gets damaged after 30 days of customer receipt (up to 6 months after order date) we will provide you a one-time replacement pair of prescription glasses at 50% off (frame and lenses).  Because of how affordable our glasses are, we feel as if the best option for our customers is to receive a brand new pair of glasses at 50% off. The prescription must be the same as the original order. You must email us a photo(s) to show proof that the frame has been damaged service@jonaspauleyewear.com.  Please include your photos as well as your order number in your email. 

Once Jonas Paul Eyewear has reviewed your warranty request and confirms that your damage repair falls within our warranty policy we will then issue you with a one-time use 50% off coupon code that you can use towards the purchase of a new pair of prescription glasses.

“Normal Use” Lens Warranty within 1 year of order date

At the time of your order, if you purchased a lens coating upgrade with a 1 year warranty, Jonas Paul Eyewear will replace lens scratched under “Normal Use” one time for a small service fee of $12.99. New lenses will be put into the current frame. You must email us a photo(s) to show proof that the lenses have been damaged service@jonaspauleyewear.com.  Please include your photos as well as your order number in your email.

You might be wondering what "Normal Use" on the lenses means, “Normal Use” scratches are defined as those that can been seen but not felt (scratches in just the coating of the lens, not the lens itself). Lenses that were damaged from an accident and have deep scratches, gouges or teeth marks will not be covered under the “Normal Use” warranty. Jonas Paul Eyewear reserves the right the approve or disapprove scratches covered under “Normal Use” upon inspection of the returned eyeglasses.

Prescription changes within 8 weeks of order date

We understand that kids prescriptions can change fairly quickly at their first eye exam. So if your child's prescription changes within 8 weeks of your order date, we have two options for you to choose from : 

1) We can offer you a one-time discount of 50% off to purchase a new pair of glasses. You can then keep you original pair as a back-up.

2) If the frame is still in good condition you can send them back to Jonas Paul Eyewear at the below address and we can provide for you one-time replacement lenses with the updated prescription in your existing frame for a service fee of $24.99.

Returns & Warranty Policy for Non-Prescription Orders

30 Day Return Policy on Non-Prescription (frame only)

We will accept returns on any non-prescription (frame only) purchases as long as the frame is returned to us in new and unworn condition. This does not include Clearance orders! We accept returns within 30 days of delivery date. Customer is responsible for the cost of shipping your return back to us. Once Jonas Paul Eyewear has reviewed your warranty request and confirms that your damage repair falls within our warranty policy we will then issue you with a one-time use 50% off coupon code that you can use towards the purchase of a new pair of Non-Rx glasses (frame only).  You can then swap out the lenses from your original pair of glasses and put them in the new frame.   Please confirm that you are purchasing the exact same frame style & size (frame sizing is listed on the inside of the temple arm) and all of our frames on our website list the frame sizing.
